GHS Alum, Delaney Sillman, Publishes on Sex, Gender, Green Space & Health

Congratulations to GHS alum, Delaney Sillman, who completed a GHS SVYM internship in Mysuru, India in summer 2016 (photo below), and who now as a graduate student in the Department of City & Metropolitan Planning at The University of Utah has published an article with her colleagues on the important topic, "Do sex and gender modify the association between green space and physical health?"

GHS-affiliated Faculty, Dr. Kristine Muñoz, Receives NEH grant to Explore Spanish Health Narratives

University of Iowa professor Kristine Muñoz received a $150,000 National Endowment for the Humanities grant to develop a website that provides health narrative courses in English and Spanish. More details in the February 7, 2022 Daily Iowan.

GHS Student, Aseel Nasr, is IC Compassion's Newest RISE AmeriCorps Member

IC Compassion recently welcomed GHS student, Aseel Nasr, as their newest RISE AmeriCorps Member. Aseel is completing a GHS B.S. In her free time, she enjoys getting involved in the community and giving back. Aseel hopes to meet new people with similar goals at IC Compassion and to contribute to the community.
