The undergraduate minor in global health studies is designed for students who wish to study the complex factors influencing health and disease locally and around the world. It requires a minimum of 15 s.h., including 12 s.h. in courses completed at the University of Iowa.
To request approval of a course for the GHS minor which is not currently on the approved list, students can speak with their academic advisor and/or the Global Health Studies advisor.
