Congratulations to Maria Martinez Rangel (BS Spring 2023) on the publication of a research article analyzing self-harm data collected from a hospital in rural India during her internship with Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement. The article appears in the November 2023 issue of the International Journal of Community Medicine and Public Health.

This article focuses on the analysis of self-harm data collected between February 2020 to March 2022 from a rural secondary hospital in rural India. Our findings offer valuable insights into the realm of mental health, both in India and on a global scale.

I am incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work that went into this project, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dedicated team and great organization.
