On Wednesday, February 15, at 7:00pm, GHS and MPH student Asel Nasr will be speaking as part of an Iowa City Foreign Relations Council event on the topic "Advocating for Southwest Asian, North African, and Arab (SWANA) Community Members in Iowa City." Nasr will discuss her research findings related to advocacy, public health, and maternal mental health in Southwest Asian, North African, and Arab (SWANA) communities. She will be joined by Criminology and Social Justice major Yasmina Sahir.
